Masterbuilt is one the largest BBQ brands in America and is known for its economic and versatile barbecue ranges. In 2020 they had launched their Gravity series that is a combination of both smoker and charcoal BBQ.

The Gravity series comes in 3 different models:

  • Gravity 1050
  • Gravity 560
  • Gravity 800

The Gravity 1050 measures 52” tall and has three levels of cooking space spreading to 1050 sq. inches, hence the name 1050. This is a perfect companion when housing barbecues for large gatherings.

It also comes with a stainless-steel side shelf that houses the temperature panel. The added feature to this is the foldable storage compartment that allows for the power cord and hanging tools. In addition to this, it also comes with a folding front shelf to store gloves, trays, or cutting boards.

The DigitalFan feature allows customers to maintain the desired temperature either from the digital control panel or a smartphone. The GravityFed charcoal hopper holds charcoal for up to 8 hours allowing food to be thoroughly cooked.

The MasterBuilt 560 series comes with 2 racks. The upper rack can be used for warming or heating food, whereas the lower rack can be majorly used for searing or grilling purposes with 560 sq. inches of cooking space.

It also comes with:

  • Expandable storage underneath the grill to store accessories
  • Temperature can be controlled either through the control panel, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth
  • A built-in temperature gauge to ensure food is cooking at the right temperature

It takes 7 minutes to reach a temperature consistency of 225°C and 13 minutes to reach 700°

The Gravity 800 series has all the features of Gravity 560 and 1050. The additional feature that makes it stand apart from the other series is the flat-top griddle insert that comes with this model. The cast iron grill grates can be removed and replaced with inserts to make breakfast or burgers.

Other features include:

  • Foldable shelves
  • Gravity-Fed charcoal hopper attached to the right side
  • A digital controller that can be managed with the panel or smartphone
  • Temperature range of 225°C to 700°C
  • Hopper capacity of 10lbs lumps or 16lbs of briquettes
  • Two porcelain-coated ceramic racks
