Kraftwood Gardens of Enterprise Lake were recently opened to the public. The gardens were the passion of Pauline Kraft, wife of one of the founders of Kraft Foods in Chicago.

A newly-formed history preservation committee put forth several projects for Rhinelander, including a plan to promote the city's almost 100 historic commercial and residential buildings. Meanwhile, the planning committee approved of a $1.3 million expansion project to the city's fire department.

The Oneida County planning and zoning department and committee took a tour of the Squash Lake site where the proposed Eagle Cove Camp and Conference Center would be built, if the county approves the project.

The Hodag Run For Your Life race charged up the streets of Rhinelander this morning with a 5K and 10K race, as well as the Chase the Hodag Kids Run around the courthouse.
